A crisis team that consists of real life authorities, politicians, government is confronted with a crisis situation that has actually occurred or could occur in reality. In a studio setting they are faced with for example the threat of a nuclear meltdown, a hostage situation, soccer riots in the city center. Through fictions news report they are constantly bombarded with new developments. What do they do to prevent escalation, how do they cope with unforeseen developments at an ever increasing pace, do they keep their heads cool under pressure? Crisis gives us insight in decision making processes in times of crises; it tells us how we are governed. The format can be adapted to every country’s needs and specific situation. NTR has scripts and expertise available. Crisis was made in close collaboration with a Dutch consulting group that advises Dutch authorities during crises.
